We are currently recruiting for a HSE Team Lead to be based on site at their client's premises in Bridgwater

The role will be to provide oversight and support to site projects and the business with health safety and environment compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• People management of the site HSE team
• Development, support and maintenance of the project deliverables
• Deployment of the relevant Management Systems, policies and procedures in the projects to assure continuing compliance to ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
• Continued governance of the project through development and deployment of audits & inspections
• Liaise with internal and external customers on HSE concerns.
• Coordinate monthly review and reporting of progress against the annual HS&E improvement plans.
• Co-ordination of sub-contractor HSE performance

The person:

• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent (essential)
• Internal Auditor (essential)
• Extensive experience in high risk industries
• Graduate member of IOSH (minimum)
• A good understanding of FIDIC and or NEC3 contracts
• A good working knowledge of Project Management protocols and standards
• Experience of managing multiple projects at one time at differing stages
• Experience of developing and implementing processes and procedures.
• On-site and off-site experience of manufacturing, fabrication and erection including lifting operations, Temporary Works etc
• Knowledge of ISO45001 and 14000
