THE COMPANY

This well established organisation design and manufacture products for the Oil, Gas and Power industries and are currently looking to expand.

Based in Swansea they offer their employees excellent facilities and remuneration.

THE ROLE

This is a permanent, full time position within the production team and reporting to the workshop supervisor. The role involves manufacturing structural steel components of various sizes and shapes using MIG welding and hand burning equipment.
The hours are Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven previous experience within a structural fabrication environment essential
• Carry out tasks efficiently and responsibly
• Experienced in manufacturing structural steel components of various sizes and shapes
• Experienced in reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Able to tack weld using Mig welding equipment
• Fully experienced using hand burning equipment
• Able to produce saw cutting list
• Able to work with the minimum supervision and keep to time schedules
• A flexible person able to work to high quality and safety standards
