The Company

This well established organisation design and manufacture products for the Oil, Gas and Power industries and are currently looking for a new Stores Person.

Based in Swansea they offer their employees excellent facilities and remuneration.

The Role

This a permanent and full time position.

The hours are Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30 Duties will include:

• Good inward control
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Control, monitor and identify stock items
• Monitor and control consumable spend budget
• Ensure stock levels are maintained
• Purchasing required stock
• Arrange or complete deliveries and collections
• Storage area housekeeping
• Issuing and recording movement of stored items
• Packing and coordinating collections and shipments
• Forklift and vehicle checks and cleaning
• Provide support to the production supervisor

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following experience, qualities and skills:

• Solid experience working in engineering or manufacturing stores
• Receiving, despatch and stock level control experience required
• Full drivers license
• Current forklift and overhead crane operation certificate and experience
• Computer literate
• Well organised and flexible
