We are looking for a dedicated HR Assistant to join our client's team and work alongside the HR Advisor in supporting the Head of HR. This role involves providing proactive, high-quality, people-centred services across the full employment life cycle and covering business travel arrangements for the PA to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the HR Inbox, providing first-line support on all queries and referring complex issues to the People Operations Advisor or Head of People Operations.
- Assist with casework issues for employees including informal disciplinary and grievance cases, intermittent absence management, and welfare concerns.
- Help maintain HR policies
- Maintain accurate data within the HR Management System.
- Monitor key metrics including recruitment, training, and absence.
- Assist in resourcing and recruitment, liaising with external recruitment consultants
- Review and update Job Overviews.
- Provide guidance on the selection processes.
- Contribute to the development of an effective onboarding/induction process for all employees.
- Maintain the Training Platform and assist in coordinating the delivery of training plans.
The Person :
- CIPD Level 3, working towards or with a desire to achieve Level 5.
- Effective verbal and written communication, delivering messages clearly and concisely.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail in processing casework to accurate and quality standards.
- Thorough knowledge of human resource best practices and current UK employment legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
