Lead Installation Engineer

£30,000 - £34,000 Pro Rata

6 Month Contract

The Role

Reporting to the Lead Installation Engineer you will work on a project that will require you to travel to different sites throughout the UK.

The role will provide you with travel, accommodation and daily allowances when required in addition to the above salary.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead a small team of labourers and other operatives
• Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements during all operations and activities
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping within your working areas
• Work in a team of operatives on water treatment installation and environmental projects worldwide
• Maintain existing equipment and in service systems
• Deploy to various sites to assist with installation or environmental protection and clean up.

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following skills, attributes and training:

• The ability to work flexibly within the requirements of the business
• Logical fault finder with a systematic approach
• Ability to prioritise urgent from less urgent jobs
• Must be a team player with sound interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach to tasks
• Attention to detail and high standard of finish to all work carried out

Desirable:

• NVQ level 3 in relevant field.
• Installation experience in the Water Sector
• Previous experience working with electrical works or engineering
• Previous experience with pipe fitting
• Forklift Licence
• Construction site work experience
• Emergency First Aid Trained

Essential:

• Drivers Licence
• Reliable
• Hard working
