Production/Engineering Controller

Up to £39k depending on experience

An established manufacturing business who are experiencing strong growth and who have plans to take the company to the next level are currently seeking to strengthen their Engineering and Operations with someone who can both co-ordinate the Engineering function, develop and manage a small team and provide CI ideas to the wider business

In order to help facilitate the growth, we are looking for someone who has previous manufacturing/ engineering experience who can look at the needs of the business and introduce structure and processes/procedures to improve the efficiency across the board

The ideal person for this role will have experience of the following:

• Close interaction with the wider operations team to identify areas for improvement
• Co-ordinating Planned/preventative maintenance activity
• Reporting both verbally and written to management
• Being comfortable talking to shop floor and management equally
• Having the ability to supervise and develop the team for succession within the business.
• Fault finding / identifying root causes
• Liaising and working with contractors ensuring correct works are undertaken and checked for compliance
• Adhering to Health and Safety legislation in particular RAMs, safe working, electrical regulations
• Effective communicator
