The Role

The New Product Office assistant along with the production team develops, maintains, and updates the new product development process (Specifications & BOMs), initiating and continuing new product "Concept to Customer" process to ensure a group of new concepts/products are available to be introduced or commercialized annually.

This role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm and will be a great career for a recent graduate or someone looking for that long term career!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create technical documentations for finished products & raw materials which are used for production
  • In coordination with the Group Operating Process Office, manage the activities related to the creation of new products, providing the Marketing & Sales Area elements on the production cost of the products
  • Check, develop, manage & modify the primary packaging artwork, paper print designs and technical characteristics of the finished product.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers (repro/artwork houses, plate makers & print suppliers to ensure that there will be no issues on new product launches
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager of permanent improvement of products, materials and palletisation system to maximize production output along with cost saving
  • Enter the production information within the SAP system
  • Evaluate the daily production output with the raw material usage
  • Apply the Corporate Principles and Values
  • Reports daily production information and summarizes the manufacturing activity for a given period of time
  • Gather and Input Data
  • Analyse Information and Prepare Reports
  • Design Data Management and Reporting tools using Microsoft Office software
  • Collaborate with Business Teams and Leadership

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Must have good IT skills to run reports (experience with SAP is a bonus)
  • Able to work to close deadlines and produce reports when needed
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (experience with formulas/VLOOKUPs is desired
  • Able to work as part of a team
