Project Manager - Manufacturing

A leading global manufacturer in their field who have undergone phenomenal and sustained growth and who have invested heavily into their site in Maesteg are currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager. You will be working closely with the CEO to facilitate a range of projects in support of the manufacturing side of the business

You will be required to to oversee all aspects of projects which will include the setting of deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and subsequently to monitor and summarize progress of project to the Executive team.

Duties will include:

• Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Liaising with project sponsors and external clients (where necessary)
• Coordinate internal resources
• Developing detailed project plans to guide the project team and external parties
• Identifying and assigning project tasks
• Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery.
• Compiling and submitting/presenting project status reports
• Working effectively with relevant stakeholders, internal and external, for efficient project implementation.
• Contribute to the continuous business improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives.

The Person

• You will be a manufacturing professional with proven experience of leading projects with a minimum of Green Belt Lean Six Sigma
• Ideally you will have - Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification.
• Knowledgeable on every aspect of the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrable business acumen.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
