Work Wales have an exciting new Fundraising Lead position. The charity we are working with provides support for people with Mental Health, Addiction and Substance Use Conditions to achieve their potential and a higher standard of life. This is an opportunity to lead on the growth of corporate fundraising income and expand on the success of our existing Business development work. This role will have a particular focus on securing income from businesses in Wales through office fundraising, charity of the year applications etc. to effectively manage relationships to maximise potential income. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an effective and professional fundraiser.
What we are looking for:
- Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies
- Research and Identify Funding Opportunities
- Set Fundraising Targets and Goals
- Stay Informed on Fundraising Regulations
- Build and Maintain Relationships with Corporate Donors
- Able to establish and maintain constructive relationships with a wide range of people including corporate partners.
- Prepare and Deliver Presentations
- Analyse Financial Data
- Collaborate with Internal Departments
- To act as an ambassador for the organisation and always seek ways to actively promote and market the services we across Wales.
- Experience in fundraising/as a fundraiser.
- Proven track record in securing fundraised income from businesses.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and non-verbal)
- A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and resilience.
- Full drivers' licence and access to your own vehicle.
