Work Wales is delighted to partner with a well-respected and established client to recruit a dedicated, empathetic, and proactive Customer Service Advisor (Maternity Cover). If you are passionate about making a difference, we are seeking an individual like you who will serve as the first point of contact for customers, acting as the face and voice of the company.

Role Description:

As a Customer Service Advisor, your primary focus will be to ensure all customers receive a superior service experience. You will take full ownership of customer queries, exhibiting strong problem-solving skills to achieve first contact resolution whenever possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using your initiative and excellent communication skills to resolve customer queries at the first point of contact.
  • Recognising and responding to customer complaints, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints then closing support tickets.
  • Issuing refunds or compensation to customers.
  • Providing and maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Learning about products/services and keeping up to date with changes.
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
  • Processing orders across the company's selling platforms.
  • Processing customer returns.
  • Updating customer accounts.
  • Processing orders and printing of labels and invoices.
  • Passing customer feedback onto the product or sales team to improve our offerings
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and provide regular feedback to the management team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for turning negatives into positives.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of problems and follow through to resolution.
  • Proficiency in using computer software programmes.
  • Ability to use initiative to proactively spot and resolve potential problems.
  • Confidence to handle multiple customer contacts and administrative tasks in numerous systems.

Role Details:

  • Monday to Friday (8.00am - 4.30pm)
  • £10.50 per hour.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Maternity cover - 9 month placement with the potential to be extended.
