Customer Service Assistant

East Cardiff

£21,500 Plus overtime

Due to continued growth we have a great opportunity for a customer service assistant to join an established manufacturing business in East Cardiff.

Supporting the production team you will be responsible for booking materials into the production process , taking customer queries, providing advice to customers about the products and providing a good all round customer experience.

Day to day duties include:

• Calling customers for additional information required in order to progress their order.
• Enter and update customer information into the company systems in a timely manner.
• Work with the customer development and production team to resolve customer requests and queries
• Pro-actively gather all information that we need in order to help the customer and handover to more senior colleagues.
• At busy periods, assist the production team with packing and dispatch to reach deadlines and customer expectations.
• Assist the customer development team by contacting customers to arrange courtesy calls, training sessions and inform them of relevant initiatives,

Ideally you will have customer service experience gained within either an office or manufacturing environment, have good organisational and communication skills and the desire to provide a good experience for clients

The role is a days role, working 8.30 to 5pm Monday to Friday and there will be the requirement to work 1 Saturday morning in 3 which will be paid as overtime
