This highly successful organisation provide products and services to a wide range of production manufacturing and engineering companies. They represent a number of global brands and boast a solid reputation. Currently in a major growth phase and are in need of an experienced technical sales administrator.
The Role
You will be required to provide administrative support to both the marketing and Sales departments:
Marketing
- Work with customer service, marketing staff and operations to maintain a customer-focused attitude with a focus on activities that create lifetime customers
- First point of contact New Customer relationship for developing FMP and FMS activities with new and equally existing customers
- Processing new customer enquiries
- Sending of proposals, product info etc.
- Completing paperwork for processing by the Order Processing Team
- Follow up calls after shipping and invoicing of orders within a 48-hr window
Sales
- Responding to inbound sales enquiries from new and existing customers in a timely and professional manner
- Providing pre-sales and post-sales support
- Recording all details within in house database - Sales Force
- Managing the Sales Pipeline and key accounts within Sales Force
- Proactively preparing quotes logging of data and forecasting sales within Sales Force
- Liaise with Finance regarding credit status checks
- Action Orders received in a timely professional manner, to ensure that the Customer's needs are understood, and expectations met or exceeded
- Delivering value through service knowledge/expertise
Requirements
The successful applicant will have the following experience and attributes:
- Solid Sales Administration experience
- Strong IT skills
- Well organised and able to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to understand and sell to customers needsSales Skills and commercial awareness
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Attention to detail
- Sound Judgement and good business sense
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Resilience and tenacity
In Return
The starting salary is aimed at £21000- £23000 but is negotiable for high end skills. The company also have excellent benefits including Private health care after 6 months, pension, bonus scheme after 2 years service.
