The Role
This is a contract position to cover maternity leave and will run for 9 months. You will be based within the export department providing customer service and administration support.
Duties will include:
- To receive and process orders from customers via telephone, by fax, email or direct from Export customers with the exception of Ireland
- To maintain proactive customer contact, progress chasing and resolve problems relating to enquiries/orders
- To ensure customers are contacted promptly when stock is made available
- To liaise with the Export Sales Director on export deals and promotions
- Arrange orders, uplifts, credit notes and deal with delivery discrepancies
- To raise and continually update customer profile sheets
- Despatch samples/product information as requested by Export Sales Director/Sales Office manager
- Organise and liaise with our logistics team with carriers on export orders
- Complete export documentation for all customers
- To support customers with any regulatory requirements working with our technical team
- Provide sales performance information to the Export Sales Director and Sales team when requested
- To execute gap analysis work as requested by Export Director and propose new line sell in activity to targeted customers within agreed criteria
- Provide analysis review of marketing activity focusing on performance v pre agreed measurable objectives
- Support in market research for potential new markets as directed by Export Director
Requirements
- Ideally you will be a graduate with some administration experience or a highly experienced administrator looking for a new challenge
- Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are essential for this role
- Previous experience with export, manufacturing or sales support would be a huge advantage
- Experience working to deadlines, scheduling and customer contact preferred
- Positive can-do attitude is a must
