Work Wales are currently working with one of the largest independent metal printers in the UK to recruit a Metal Coating (Lacquering) Back End Line Operator.

We are looking for someone with previous manufacturing experience, good level of IT skills, numeracy, and literacy, as well as the ability to work in a busy and demanding environment without sacrificing quality or breaching H&S Rules and Regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Setting and operating the back end of a metal sheet fed coating lines with thermal oven

· Adhere to the company Quality Management System through completing frequent quality checks in line with company/customer specification

· Recording data on production records

· Manage product change overs efficiently, assisting the coating operator with wash up's

· Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in your areas of responsibility

· Prepare barrels of coatings for production lines

· Unpacking raw of materials ready for production

· Packing of finished goods products ready for despatch to the customer

· Assisting in maintenance activities

· Comply with the company's health and Safety and hygiene policies to include reporting of all safety and food safety concerns and incidents

This is a full-time position with a three-shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am), and overtime required as and when necessary, so flexibility is essential.

Pay: £11.24 plus shift allowance
