The Company
One of the UK's leading manufacturers in their field are looking for a Product Marketing manager to join their team. This supplier of choice has been in business for over 75 years and proud to sell British made products to a diverse client base. They have a positive team culture and represent strong values of safety, quality, service and customer satisfaction.
The Role
This is full time permanent position based on site at this organisation's Swansea facility.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Product competitiveness and development
- Understanding the market segments and customer needs
- Develop USP, propositions and own marketing communications to drive sales
- Price support and analysis
- Take responsibility for positioning and promoting the companies products as Best in Class.
- Ensure there is clear differentiation between the companies products and its competitors through developing relevant USPs and propositions
- To ensure the sales team have all of the sales collateral necessary to drive sales.
- To safeguard margins by supporting pricing decisions to drive profitable sales.

Requirements
The successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Previous Product Management experience is essential
- Demonstrate a commercial mindset; understanding costs, margin, ROI
- Demonstrate an ability to understand customer needs, USPs and develop of propositions
- A good working knowledge of marketing communications
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- High levels of numeracy and literacy (including MS Office
- Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
- Can work independently, problem-solve and be prepared to argue their case.
