We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to support our Global Client's Health and Safety Manager in maintaining a safe, compliant, and safety-conscious workplace. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections, identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Deliver engaging safety training to employees on procedures, equipment use, and emergency protocols.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Support emergency response planning and ensure readiness for potential incidents.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, encouraging proactive hazard reporting and safe working practices.
  • Ensure safety equipment is maintained, fully operational, and compliant with regulations.
  • Stay informed of industry regulations and best practices to keep the company compliant.

The Person

  • A degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 2 years' experience in health & safety within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and compliance in manufacturing.
  • Experience in risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials management and emergency response planning.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret safety data and drive improvements.
  • Proficiency in safety management software & Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, safety-first attitude with excellent communication and leadership skills.
