A leading fabricator and installer of architectural aluminium products, working with household names within the building industry are currently looking to recruit a Fabricator to join their team on the outside of Cardiff.

Your hourly rate will be dependent on experience and you are able to work through a salary matrix once you demonstrate skills and experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication of commercial aluminium curtain walling, windows & doors using Senior Architectural Systems & Aluprof and will be part of an experienced team

On a day to day basis you will:

• Interpret Design drawings and visualise the process required to deliver a finished product in the expected timeframe
• Be involved in Crimping, routing, drilling, assembling, general machining & fabrication of curtain walling, windows & doors
• Keep accurate job records required for our quality standards
• Follow procedures and instructions especially relating to safety and quality
• Have the ability to operate well using their own initiative and to contribute as part of the team.
• Be positive and have enthusiasm towards achieving quality and productivity targets as well as developing your own skills

Equipment on the shopfloor includes Full 5 Axis CNC Machining Centre, Pneumatic Crimpers, Graule Compound Saws, Milling Machine & CNC Double Mitre Saw

The person

The ideal candidate for this role will be from an aluminium fabricator background with relevant experience or have qualifications in the same and who wants to develop their experience within industry
