My client:

Founded in 2001 my client is the world's first online media monitoring company. My client helps their extensive customer base better understand, influence, and engage with their stakeholders. Head quartered in America, San Francisco they are recruiting Sales Development Representatives for their Cardiff office. This is an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates or graduates with sales experience who are looking to join an ambitious entrepreneurial company, offering excellent earning potential and clear paths to director level.

Role of Sales Development Representative:

As a Sales Development Representative you will enjoy working with and learning from the mentoring of great sellers, strong leadership in a supportive environment focused on personal development and career advancement. High performers in this role can expect to advance their career in 6-12 months to be Sales Consultants, holding ownership over the full sales cycle.

  • Prospect a variety of companies and organisations across multiple industries
  • Generate interest and create opportunities with new prospects via cold calling, email, phone, Linkedin, etc. to build a pipeline of targeted prospects
  • Research companies and evaluate their structure and marketing & communications strategies to understand how best to position my clients products
  • Maintain a high level of activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling
  • Conduct high-level consultative conversations with C-Level executives in prospect accounts
  • Ask open-ended questions to prospects that uncover business needs and overcome objections
  • Schedule product demonstrations, and collaborate with their sales team to qualify customers, build a pipeline and drive deals
  • Meet and exceed your daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals
  • Leverage lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc. to create relationships with prospects

Requirements for Sales Development Representative:

  • University Degree - any discipline 2.1 or above
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable engaging with c-suite decision makers
  • Well rounded team player
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial
