The Company

This high-tech company specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and operation of electro-based water-treatment products is currently growing and looking to hire an experienced Electrician. This dynamic organisation are expanding globally and have an enviable reputation within their industry.

The Role

This is a permanent role working locally and on various company projects throughout the UK and abroad when required. The perks and benefits for time spent away from home are considerable and in addition to the advertised salary.

The company will consider either a full time employee or a person looking for part time work as long as availability is a minimum of 3 days per week - in this case salary will be pro-rata.

Duties will include

• Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed
• Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems
• Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations
• Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed
• Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete projects
• Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job
• Identifying electrical problems and repairing them
• Conducting general electrical sms maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, traits and experience:

• Qualified electrician with solid post qualification experience
• 18th edition qualified
• Previous experience in the Water or Oil & Gas sector would be preferred but applications from electricians with solid installation and site experience are also welcome
• Must have a current valid passport
• Happy to travel when required
• Ability to work independently
• Solid attention to detail
