Our long term client provide retail organisations with a solution, which encompasses the procurement, stockholding and direct delivery of consumable products to retailers' head offices, stores and distribution centres globally.
Often relied on as a single-source provider of GNFR (goods not for resale), the typical product categories that they can supply include office stationery, bespoke packaging supplies, garment hangers, visual merchandising materials, electronic office supplies, acrylics and warehouse consumables. Value is recognised by clients through cost and time efficiencies realised, in addition to the support they receive with helping strengthen their environmental credentials.
With warehouse facilities worldwide they are trading globally with household names in the retail industry such as Superdry, Hunkemöller, JD Sports, Hugo Boss, Harrods, Abercrombie & Fitch, Dr Martens and Clarks.
Due to the winning of several new accounts, they need to strengthen the Account Management team by the recruitment of an Internal Account Manager
You will be the main point of contact for that client and you will :
- Ensure the smooth running and performance of your account (s)
- Work closely with your Account Support person to the same end
- Be involved in customer queries, stock management and purchasing when needed
- Deliver effective solutions to your customer's needs
- Meet with customers either by teams or face to face as needed for updates
- Play an active role in the annual reviews and budget setting
- Provide all relevant documentation to support the account and for internal uses
The person:
- Previous experience of Account Management
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen/awareness
- Ability to interact effectively with all departments in the business
- Used to working to KPI's
- Strong presentation skills
- Good analytical skills
- Highly motivated
- Strong IT ability
