Production Supervisor

We have a great opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join an established manufacturer and where you will be able to develop your experience whilst supporting the Production Manager

The role will be to assist the Production Manager with the day to day management of people within production to ensure the Company's targets and objectives are met to satisfy customer requirements whilst complying with health &safety, quality and standard operating procedures.

Day to day responsibilities will be to :

• Manage the workflow by assigning personnel to work centres in line with delivery schedules
• Monitor production output according to targets and quality specifications
• Identify issues in efficiency and product quality and suggest improvements
• Ensure safe working practices are maintained and written procedures are adhered to
• Identify causes of non - conformance and action remedies
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Support the resolution of customer concerns and complaints. Identify and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures ensuring corrective actions are sustained to eliminate repeat issues
• Implement training to ensure sufficient cover available across all key processes

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 08.00 -16.30 and Friday 08.00-15.30

The person:

• Previous experience in a Production Supervisory/Management role
• Ideally coming with an engineering background but this is not essential
• Experience in FMCG, plastics moulding, metal forming would be beneficial
