Fiona began her career in logistics working for a large global company. Fiona started with the company as an Internal Sale Executive progressing to Sameday Site Manager and moved into the International role as a Sales Development Executive. Fiona left this company to start a family and was a “stay at home mum” to bring up her 2 boys. When Fiona returned back to work she had the opportunity to work for a national Engineering company. Fiona’s role was a Commercial Supervisor; her role was to set up the sales function in the local branch. Fiona gained a lot of experience within the engineering sector whilst working for this company.

Fiona started her career in recruitment when a company approached her to work for them. Fiona was excited about a new direction in her career. Fiona has never looked back and has developed and progressed within the recruitment sector.  She is currently responsible for managing permanent vacancies within the Commercial and Industrial Recruitment Sectors.

She has successfully built a robust reputation within the recruitment industry by developing long term strategic partnerships to enable sustainable relationships with her client base.

Fiona believes her career to date has been very successful. It has allowed her to demonstrate her commitment and achievements to the positions she has held, whilst also allowing her to take “ time out “ to raise a family.

  • What do you do when you’re not in work?

    I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am a big fan of the outdoors, l love family outdoor activities such as walking and travelling. I enjoy several hobbies and crafts, namely cake baking and needlecraft. My best achievement was making a christening gown out of a bridal’s train for my nieces christening.
  • What is your favourite film?

    My Favourite film is ‘Pretty Woman’ and Runaway Bride - l am a big fan of Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.
  • What is your favourite holiday?

    My children are keen surfers and whilst over the years we have taken many camping holidays (near surfing beaches) travelling with groups of friends. We have had some fantastic times. These holidays will always be very memorable to me.
  • Why do you love recruitment?

    I enjoy the whole recruitment process from the moment l put the advert together to the short listing and interviewing. Recruitment is very rewarding when the perfect match between candidates and clients is found -knowing that I have been a part of this and helped and changed people’s lives. This is what I love about recruitment.
  • How would your friends describe you in 3 words?

    Professional, Passionate, Organised
  • Biggest achievement?

    My biggest achievement is having my 2 boys Gareth and Owain and guiding them successfully to achieve their goal in life.
