Outstanding opportunity to secure a permanent role in a dynamic organisation who use cutting edge methods and technologies. The organisation work on projects throughout the UK building exceptional yet affordable homes of high quality and craftsmanship using steel frame modular construction.


The role will be based in Swansea managing projects to build apartments through modular steel frame construction. This is a senior position for a construction site manager who can offer a wealth of experience and local knowledge. Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Overall management of site from project inception to completion
  • Full on site responsibility
  • Appointing and overseeing required tradesmen
  • Maintain high health and safety standards
  • Ensuring agreed time frames for completion are met
  • Arrangement of site facilities
  • Overseeing apartment fit out
  • Quality control of supplies and completed work
  • Occasional travel to head office in London
  • Providing construction updates and progress reports


The successful applicant will have the following experience, skills, qualifications and attributes:

  • Substantial experience in managing residential construction builds
  • Steel frame modular construction experience would be an advantage
  • Relevant tickets and HSE requirements must be current
  • Up to date knowledge of construction management and processes
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the Swansea building sector including understand the construction/contractor ecosystem in South West Wales
  • Project management, light-gauge steel fabrication and modular construction experience will be a bonus but not essential
  • Open minded, adaptable and professional
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills essential
  • Happy to travel to head office when required (+/- once per month)
  • Full UK drivers license
