Logistics Coordinator/Warehouse Supervisor

My client based near Llanelli are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator/Warehouse Supervisor to join them in their large production facility
This is a day shift role paying circa £28-29,000 per annum

Within this role your key roles and responsibilities will be:

*Responsible for managing a small team on a day to day basis and lead the team to achieve departmental KPIs
*Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business
*Accountable for the trouble-free reception and delivery of all goods entering & leaving the facility
*Responsible for accurate process compliance in the system environment.
*Responsible for inventory accuracy of stock and cycle counting process
*Accountable for trouble free line supply of manufacturing with all needed materials
*Responsible to monitor and develop assigned resources to ensure continuous achievement of relevant targets
*Responsible the continuous improvement of all material handling processes with the support of lean manufacturing tools.
*Fulfil assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.

This is a hands-on role and the person appointed should have the following skills or experience:
Understanding of the supply chain process
Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced excel skills
Knowledge of lean techniques advantageous
Previous management experience management
Training, mentoring and people development skills
Interpersonal & business management skills
Excellent communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts costs, production, manufacture and customer order fulfilment
Results orientated and organised with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
Project management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Be a team player of the highest calibre
Able to work on own initiative and drive appropriate goals
Ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
Previous warehouse/logistics experience within automotive or manufacturing environment desirable
