Quality Manager/Senior Quality Technician in Swansea

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client based in Swansea, to get involved in a relatively new venture within a successful manufacturing company.
The position is a progressive position for a Quality Control Technician/Quality Control Manager within an exciting and growing industry.
Duties will include:
·Formation and implementation of new systems throughout the processing facility.
·Manage the establishment of the internal Lab facility
·Manage any duties that would naturally fall under the function of the laboratory including setting up lab testing and recording systems and protocols
·Ensuring that all testing required of any inwards goods is completed in a timely manner. All test results to be kept as required and records are to be made available to all entitled managers.
·Manage staff training and implementation of all systems.
·Manage all internal auditing and preparation of external audits in requirement with UK regulatory authorities or any Established Quality Accreditation, as achieved by the company.
·Assist with Research and Development duties as requested.
·Manage the writing of quality manuals in conjunction with the Production Manager.
·Responsible for the planning and prioritising and the implementation of all quality systems within the facility.
·Ensuring that all Quality Systems are operating at a level that meets all regulatory requirements while considering all Health & Safety parameters in both people and products, combined with operational parameters.
·Management of all personnel in the quality department.
·Provide staff training where required.
·Contributing to and participating in a positive health and safety culture
This is a varied position which requires an open mind, flexibility and varied skills to attain the highest quality products for a variety of markets and achieve desired accreditations.
Important is "a can do" attitude and willingness to "get hands on" to make it happen.
This role is a Monday - Friday 9am-5pm paying circa £25,000 per annum.
