Full time Monday - Friday 9-5
Our small to medium business in Swansea are seeing an experienced accounts administrator to join their small team at a senior position. The role will suit an outgoing and confident candidate keen to develop a career within Accounts and work their way up into management. Within this role you will be:
Raising all invoices and Pro Forma's to send to client
Ensuring all incoming invoices are checked and paid on a weekly/ monthly and annual basis.
Access portals for electronic invoicing to customers
Circulate mid and end of month statements and maximise cash collection
Set up customer accounts on the system and file data
Log and allocate cash postings
Raise marketing invoices
Answer customers queries in a timely and professional manner
Supervise the office and manage 1 other member of staff
Overlooking the day to day running of the office and ensure it is all done to a high and accurate standard.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have extensive Administration experience within a busy and ever-changing office
Have experience working within an accounts/ procurement department
Have a confident telephone manner and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage several tasks concurrently
Be able to manage other staff members efficiently as well as your self
Experience working within an ever changing environment such as manufacturing, construction or IT is very beneficial to this role
Be numerically minded with a high level of accuracy is essential for this role
Have experience of all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, sage, or another accountancy package, experience is beneficial but not essential.
