Receptionist/ Marketing in Swansea

My client based on the outskirts of Swansea are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join their busy hotel. Although this role is based on reception initially, you will have the opportunity to progress into a marketing/ events role.
In this role you will be responsible for being first point of contact with the guests, you will be naturally warm, approachable, and committed to creating an excellent customer experience. Your ability to engage will enable you to identify opportunities to promote and market the business by providing as much information to guests to promote events, functions, deals or packages they may offer at any one time. As well as this you will have the opportunity to provide information on the functions and wedding packages the company offers. This role could for the right person progress into an events and wedding coordinator role. It could be a great opportunity for someone who loves organising and is passionate about events and weddings.
Not surprisingly, the weekends are normally the busiest times. You must be able and committed to working regularly at weekends, with shifts ranging from 7.30am to 9.30 pm. Dependent upon business need, it's anticipated that you will work between 30-40+ hours per week. Flexibility is important in ensuring that the team rota is maintained and supported at all times.
This role is a full-time role and is offering a salary of £18720- £19760. You must have a car due to the location of the business. You must have an interest in events/ weddings and have the desire to work in a soft sales/ marketing role. You must have excellent customer service skills, be bale to communicate face to face and over the phone with a calm and professional manner.
