Sales Account Manager
My well known and growing client based on the outskirts of Swansea is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their business. This is a permanent role for a sales driven candidate looking for a new challenge.
You will be able to manage, develop and increase sales and gross profit contribution in new and existing customers. Ensuring all sales and margin targets and budgets are met in line with the Company's pre-determined strategy.
As a Sales account manager, you should work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow the business by building successful, long-term client relationships.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include achieving sales targets, aligned with company objectives, monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts). Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth, manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success as well as developing positive relationships with clients. Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs, generating new business using existing and potential customer networks as well as supervising account representatives to ensure sales increase, Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
You must have a background in sales and work experience in a similar role. You will be experienced working within a business to business role and be able to manage accounts with existing clients. You will be organised sales and target driven and be confident speaking with clients over the phone and face to face. Experience based in the food industry is an advantage.
For this role, you will receive a salary up to £26,000 depending on experience with a £5,000 bonus scheme which is paid quarterly if sales targets are achieved. You will receive a 3% pension, company death in service,20 holidays plus bank holidays, basic private health, free parking, and company car.
