Accounts Assistant in Swansea

I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant.
This is an exciting and progressive opportunity to join a successful and growing business.
The Accounts Assistant role will involve;
·Processing customer/supplier invoices.
·Reconciling monthly supplier statements.
·Preparation of bank payments.
·Bank postings and reconciliations.
·Other accounts functions and reporting as and when required.
·General administrative support.
·Answering telephone and making calls.
·Inputting data into Xero daily.
·Keeping spreadsheets up to date.
·Purchase order processing.
·Sales order processing.
·Generally supporting all aspects of the business.
Skills and experience required;
·Previous experience in a similar role.
·Good working knowledge of Sage 50/Xero and Microsoft Office.
·Experience with using pivot tables and Vlookups.
·Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.
·Strong communication skills.
·Ability to work to deadlines.
·A positive can-do attitude.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for accounts and have either an AAT qualification, or be willing to study towards the AAT qualification.
The role will be Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.00 and will be paying £17-19,000 per annum DOE.
