Park Assistant in Swansea

Our client operates an "award winning" family orientated four-star holiday park based on the beautiful Gower peninsular. They are looking for a capable, honest and 'self-motivated' park assistant to join their team based on the Gower peninsular.
The park is family-owned and has been running for the past 20 years and is made up of a number of static caravan pitches, residential lodges, holiday lodges and camping pitches. They are looking for a well-motivated person who would be able to help maintain the park to a high standard and deal with park customers.
You would be joining a team of a park manager and another assistant.
The job is generally 40-44 hours per week for the majority of the year. During busier periods this will increase to a potential 48hours per week if required. You must be prepared to work 4-8 of these hours on the weekend, particularly in the busier periods.
Your paid annual leave holidays will be made up of 31 days holiday per year, made up of 2 weeks (11days) compulsory leave over Christmas & New Year and 20 days to be taken throughout the year, on request.
PLEASE NOTE:- (Holidays cannot be taken from mid-June or during the months of July and August at all however, as these are our busiest periods and all staff are required on site).
Previous experience in grounds maintenance, siting and commissioning of static caravans, drainage, landscaping, basic repairs and plumbing etc would be highly advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided for all essential skills on site.
It would be great if you had previous hospitality sector experience or experience of working in a holiday park however this is not essential and we will consider candidates who are willing to learn and have a "can do" attitude.
