Senior HR Manager in Swansea

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen with my client, a large and successful company operating within the manufacturing industry based in Swansea.
This is a newly created, stand-alone Senior HR Manager role that will provide all elements of HR support to managers and employees. You should be an experienced HR professional with a business focused and collaborative approach.
This is a true generalist role, whist specialist support will be available, to be successful you should have experience of and an aptitude for all the different aspects of HR.
Some of the things you will be responsible for are:
·Taking an active part in all management meetings, understanding the business drivers and contributing to all areas not just HR.
·Being a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team.
·HR business partnering with managers to support on the complete people agenda, ensuring people remain at the heart of the business.
·Reviewing all existing HR policies and procedures to ensure legally compliant and fit for purpose.
·Recruitment: both direct and working with agencies, setting up and attending interviews, preparing offer letters and contracts, references and keeping accurate records
·Working with managers and employees to assess training requirements, arrange approved training, track and review
·Driving the annual merit review process, supporting line managers in allocation of funds in line with a pay for performance philosophy, within a fair and robust legal framework.
