Accounts Clerk in Bridgend

My client based in Bridgend are looking for a part-time accounts clerk for a fixed term maternity cover role. This is a key role within a small chemicals manufacturing unit, this position reports to the Managing Director and Finance Manager and is a hands-on position that requires the ability to work unsupervised across a number of functional teams within the business.
You will have an accountancy background and a strong working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Duties will include:
Sales Ledger - Credit Control/Cash Receips/Misc Invoices
Purchase Ledger - Invoice Entry/Invoice Matching/Invoice Payment
Banking - Cashflow forecast
Payroll - Payment/Pensions admin/P11D/Timecards
Controlling - Cost reporting/ IA Errors/ product costing/Inventory Reconciliation/ Allocations/Stock Counts/Urban Report
Month End Duties - Accruals/prepayments/Intercompany Recs/Reconciliations - Balance sheet/ Quarterly forecast/ Annual Standard costing
Tax - VAT
Financial Reporting - Sales Data
This is a 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
The role will be 20 - 25hours per week and will pay £14.00ph
