My client based in Llandrindod Wells are seeking a Valuer/Commercial and Development Officer to join their property team.
The purpose of the role is as follows:
To advise on strategic property matters from a professional valuer's perspective. To undertake estate management and valuation services to support asset management planning in the effective use of the extensive property holdings with particular emphasis on its business investment portfolio of 180 business units across the County to ensure that performance in this area meets or exceeds targets. To support the Commercial Property Manager to develop the commercial estate to achieve the corporate objectives and increase yield and quality of holdings.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
To assist in the provision of a comprehensive range of valuation, property management, acquisition, disposal and strategic property advice to optimise effective use of the Property Portfolio
To undertake and manage asset valuations, rent and rate reviews, collections, lettings, lease terminations and surrenders in addition to advising on fair rentals
To provide advice to the Corporate Clients and Services on strategic property matters and procurement options and initiatives for property related works in order to promote the effective use of resources
To proactively review the budgets and performance of the commercial estate in order to make recommendations to the Commercial Property Manager on improving the yield and the quality of holdings.
The ideal candidate will have:
Successful experience of providing property advice for a large and complex portfolio.
Experience of working with multiple organisations to achieve a successful property solution.
Demonstrate a competent ability to prepare and produce accurate:
·Written and financial reports
