Marketing Coordinator

Our client is looking for a Marketing Coordinator in the Swansea Area, preferably a Graduate with 1-2 years work experience within a marketing role, using Marketing IT tools.

Salary: £ 18-20k

Department: Marketing, Sales, Customer Service

Hours: 9am to 5.30pm: Monday-Thursday/ 9am to 3.00 pm - Friday


Supports and provides assistance to the Managing Director and Sales and Customer Service teams. This involves performing a range of duties, largely overseeing and executing all online and off-line marketing activities for European Headquarters.

Essential Functions:

  • Press Releases/ PR Management: gather details from team to source and write initial draft - including new Hire PR
  • Collateral organization - flyers, brochures: managing, production, quotes/billing, translation
  • Source and organize feedback from sales and technical team for marketing needs - Technical Data Sheets / Books, Material Safety Data Sheets, Selector Charts, Brochures, etc
  • Technical data sheet / book: create and manage the update working with the Technical Team and Marketing Associate in US.
  • Literature and promotional item inventory: manage and maintain, coordinate requirements on inventory/ stock, place orders and verify receipt, keep ready and available to the Customer Service and Sales Team
  • Support Sales and Customer Service teams with appropriate and latest marketing materials - collateral and promotional items
  • Tradeshows/ Conferences / Sales Meetings - coordinate and implement all phases from pre-planning to follow-up
  • List management - liaise with Sales Team, Customer Service, HR and IT to keep up to date latest contacts of distributors/ agents, customers, employees
  • Coordinate with Marketing Associate to keep online activities (marketing and corporate communication) up-to-date across website, extranet, social media pages
  • Manage and track marketing costs.
  • Communication Ideas: introduce new communication ideas to support marketing objectives
  • Be the point of contact for various corporate projects instituted by the managing director

Minimum Requirements:
University degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communication

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Team player - works to ensure department goals are met or exceeded

Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and handle multiple projects/priorities at the same time

Work across time zones, multiple departments including sales, technology, accounting,
and operations as well as with vendors - designers, print houses

Very Motivated and Self-starter, Takes initiative

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, InDesign and illustrator

Content Management Systems such as Word Press, and HTML editing
