I am currently recruiting for a rare and exciting opportunity. My client based in Carmarthenshire have a new position available as part of a new project. The role as a Community Hanyperson is a part of a scheme to develop and mentor young individuals. The role will involve working with young people from a variety of backgrounds with the aim of developing their life and employment skills.

The operational part of the role will involve:

-cleaning windows, gardening, clearing gutters, cleaning paintwork

-Planning work schedules and appointments including accommodating adverse weather conditions

-Control inventory, budgets and pricing structures

-Generate ideas and attend relevant events to promote this community initiative

The Community Mentoring part of the role will involve:

-Assess the needs and aspirations of the participant and set initial targets

-Facilitate the professional, social and emotional development of trainees through coaching and mentoring techniques

-Support with improving verbal and written communication skills
