“Going the extra mile for all our clients”

Recruitment & Employment Confederation

Every employer should have confidence that their business is in the hands of an expert, trained and experienced recruitment company.  The only way to ensure peace of mind, is to work with members of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), the industry’s trade body.  REC members stand for Quality, Excellence, Standards and Best Practice.

Work Wales is proud to be a member of REC and we are bound by its Code of Professional Practice which details the standards required to ensure employers and job seekers receive a quality recruitment service.   REC members are also committed to promoting diversity, bringing to your business the benefits of a diverse workforce that complies with Government regulations.

The REC has mandatory inspections as a condition of membership.  Each month they select a number of corporate members to be visited by an Assessment Officer and assessed against 10 areas of REC standards and industry regulations.   We passed with flying colors and were advised that very few pass first time; and that we are a credit to recruitment agencies.

REC Inspection

In 2007, the REC introduced a programme of mandatory inspections as a condition of membership.  Each month they select a number of corporate members to be visited by an Assessment Officer and assessed against 10 areas of REC standards and industry regulations.  All 10 areas was quite an achievement.

Work Wales passed the inspection with flying colours and this is a testament to Work Wales high standards and practices. This gives their clients confidence that their business is in good hands.

‘In conclusion, I would like to say what a pleasure it was to meet you and to see such an excellent agency.  I can now confirm that you have passed the inspection.’
